Regular Season Round 20: s.Oliver Baskets - Walter Tigers 63-82

Bottom-ranked Walter Tigers managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the six-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they outleveled sixteenth-ranked s Oliver Baskets in Wuerzburg 82-63. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 19-point difference suggests that Walter Tigers is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. The game was mostly controlled by Walter Tigers. s Oliver Baskets managed to win fourth quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Walter Tigers forced 19 s Oliver Baskets turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Alex Harris (196-86, agency: Interperformances) who scored 21 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Naturalized Serbian center Bogdan Radosavljevic (213-93) chipped in 22 points. American point guard Dominic Waters (185-86, college: Portland St.) produced 17 points and 6 assists and the former international Maximilian Kleber (207-92, agency: LUMANI 10.7) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Walter Tigers (4-16) moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Bayreuth. s Oliver Baskets at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Vechta. Walter Tigers is looking forward to face league's second-placed Brose Baskets in Bamberg in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. s Oliver Baskets will play at home against Artland Dragons (#5) and are hoping to win this game.
