Regular Season Round 20: Antalya - Bandirma Kir. 62-61

There was no surprise when 17th ranked Bandirma Kir. (3-17) was edged on the road by tenth ranked Antalya (11-9) 62-61 on Saturday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bandirma Kir. was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 21-18 charge of Antalya, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Hasan Karabulut (202-84) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Antalya players scored in double figures. Ahmet Cantitiz (193-92) responded with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Harvey Todd (188-91, college: Wash.Adventist, agency: BBEH Cokrlija) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Bandirma Kir.'s coach Yalcin Kucukozkan tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Antalya moved-up to ninth place. Loser Bandirma Kir. keeps the seventeenth position with 17 games lost. Antalya will face higher ranked Ankara DSI Era (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bandirma Kir. will play against Pamukkale (#7) and hope to win that game.
