The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked NBC's (12-9) home victory over 10th ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (10-11) in Nurnberg 94-83. The game was mostly controlled by NBC. The victory was the third consecutive win for NBC. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Heidelberg and Chemnitz. Newly promoted Oettinger Rockets Gotha keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. NBC's next round opponent will be Finke Baskets (#12) in Paderborn which should be theoretically an easy game. Oettinger Rockets Gotha will play at home against BV Chemnitz 99 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
