Rather expected game when 14th ranked TED Ankara (2-17) lost to twelfth ranked Ceyhan Bld (7-12) in Adana 59-69. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American-Slovakian forward Erin Marie Lawless (185-85, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ceyhan Bld players scored in double figures. Ceyhan Bld's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nigerian swingman Mactabene Amachree (190-78) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Ayse Dilek Akinci (175-82) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Ceyhan Bld moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Besiktas and Canik Bld. TED Ankara lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Ceyhan Bld's next round opponent will be higher ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#3) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TED Ankara will play at home against Orduspor (#11) and hope to win that game.
