The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked CSU Sibiu (13-4) in Cluj on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked U-Mobitelco (12-5) 92-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CSU Sibiu. The game without a history. U-Mobitelco led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded CSU Sibiu 41-20 including a 30-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. U-Mobitelco looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Serbian forward Ivan Kuburovic (202-81) stepped up and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Darius Hargrove (193-82, college: Virginia Union) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four U-Mobitelco players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Croatian guard Matija Ceskovic (192-81) responded with 15 points and 6 assists and Serbian guard Milos Bojovic (198-81, agency: Beo Basket) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. U-Mobitelco have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. CSU Sibiu at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Ploiesti. U-Mobitelco are looking forward to face Timba Timosoara (#12) in Timisoara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CSU Sibiu will play at home against Concordia (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
