Leader Kibirkstis-VICI delivered the twentiethth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Utena (7-14) 79-45 in Vilnius. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Utena. The game without a history. Kibirkstis-VICI led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Utena's 26. Kibirkstis-VICI forced 25 Utena turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Utena's players. It was a good game for international forward Lina Pikciute (192-90) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. International swingman Marina Solopova (180-90) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Kibirkstis-VICI's coach Jurgita Streimikyte felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International center Kristina Alminaite (205-90) answered with 7 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Sakellie Daniels (170-84, college: Charlotte) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Utena. Kibirkstis-VICI (20-1) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Utena at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost.
