NKL top team - Mazeikiai (23-4) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat fifth ranked TiuMenas-Ezer. (16-9) 88-74. The game was mostly controlled by Mazeikiai. TiuMenas-Ezer. managed to win fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mazeikiai forced 19 TiuMenas-Ezer. turnovers. Forward Darius Tarvydas (199-91) nailed 19 points and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Mindaugas Reminas (186-86) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists. Forward Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) came up with 18 points and point guard Tomas Cerneckis (191-88) added 13 points respectively for TiuMenas-Ezer. in the defeat. Five Mazeikiai and four TiuMenas-Ezer. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
