Leader CSU Sibiu delivered the fourteenth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 13th ranked Concordia (1-17) 105-73. CSU Sibiu made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Concordia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Devon Austin (198-87, college: Manhattan) scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian-Croatian guard Matija Ceskovic (192-81) chipped in 30 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Concordia players scored in double figures. Concordia's coach Vlastimir Vukadinovic gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. CSU Sibiu maintains first position with 14-4 record. Concordia lost eleventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Farul Const.. CSU Sibiu will meet at home Timba Timosoara (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Concordia will play against Targu Mures and hope to win that game.
