The game with biggest result difference took place in Constanca. Local Farul Const. (1-17) was outscored by eighth ranked Pitesti (11-7) 97-57. The game without a history. Pitesti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pitesti forced 19 Farul Const. turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Serbian point guard Edi Sinadinovic (193-88) notched 13 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Croatian guard Pankracije Barac (196-81, agency: Court Side) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Pitesti's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Oradea on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Farul Const. will play against BC Timisoara (#10) and hope to win that game.
