DBBL top team - TSV 1880 Wasserburg (16-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Eisvogel Freiburg (7-10) 83-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Eisvogel Freiburg. Eisvogel Freiburg trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 29-24 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-83 at the end of the game. TSV 1880 Wasserburg made 29-of-36 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will meet at home league's second-placed Rhein Main Baskets in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
