There was an upset in Hatay where higher ranked Antakya (9-11) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Tarsus Bld (5-15) 68-50 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 40-17 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tarsus Bld outrebounded Antakya 46-31 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Natasha Lacy (178-85, college: UTEP, agency: Merit Management Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import Delisha Milton-Jones (186-74, college: Florida, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Tarsus Bld players scored in double figures. American center Aneika Henry (193-86, college: Florida) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Greek forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Tarsus Bld maintains thirteenth position with 5-15 record. Antakya at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. Tarsus Bld will face bottom-ranked TED Ankara (#14) at home in the next round.
