Regular Season Round 19: Horsholm - Virum 88-75

Very expected game when 8th ranked Virum (3-15) was defeated on the road by third ranked Horsholm (12-6) 88-75. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. Virum was better in third quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Anemone Scheel (184-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. point guard Amalie Bonde (167-89) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Guard Ivana Kostic (177-85) answered with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of her eight free throws) and forward Cecilie Homann (185-89) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Virum. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsholm maintains third place with 12-6 record having five points less than leader SISU. Virum lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost.
