Regular Season Round 28: Horsholm - SISU 72-67

Date: February 19, 2014
The game in Horsholm was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked SISU (10-13) played at the court of seventh ranked Horsholm (9-14). Horsholm managed to secure a 5-point victory 72-67. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SISU won fourth quarter 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American guard Brenton Butler (188-87, college: Fordham) who scored that evening 25 points and 5 rebounds and Hungarian forward Attila Kovacs (202-85) supported him with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Even 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) did not help to save the game for SISU. His fellow American import power forward Joe Benjamin (200-83, college: W.Virginia St.) added 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for lost side. Despite that victory Horsholm went down to eighth position due to points difference. SISU at the other side keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Horsholm's next round opponent will be again higher ranked SISU (#6) in Copenhagen and it may be quite challenging game.
