Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Timba Timosoara (2-17) was outscored on the road by second ranked CSU Sibiu (15-4) 88-56 on Friday. The game without a history. CSU Sibiu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Timba Timosoara to just 6 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Timba Timosoara 45-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian guard Milos Bojovic (198-81, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Timba Timosoara's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. CSU Sibiu keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Oradea. Timba Timosoara lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth place with 17 games lost. CSU Sibiu will meet Craiova (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Timba Timosoara will play against Concordia (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
