An exciting game was played in Lemvig. Lemvig faced SISU. Host Lemvig (1-0) defeated guests from Copenhagen (0-1) 64-60. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SISU won third quarter 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded SISU 41-21 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. FYR Macedonian point guard Ivana Udovalieva (174-84) fired 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Emily Hatch (185-89, college: San Diego) chipped in 6 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Heidi Anton (175-90, college: USF) produced 14 points and 4 assists and guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Lemvig will face Amager in Kastrup in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play at home against Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
