The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourteenth ranked Turk Telekom's (7-12) home victory over 15th ranked Selcuk Universitesi (5-14) 67-53. The game was mostly controlled by Turk Telekom. Selcuk Universitesi was better in third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Sean Williams (208-86, college: Boston Coll.) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard Derrick Low (196-86, college: Washington St.) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Selcuk Universitesi. Turk Telekom moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Trabzonspor. Newly promoted Selcuk Universitesi keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Turk Telekom's next round opponent will be higher ranked Galatasaray (#4) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Selcuk Universitesi will play at home against the league's leader Banvit BK (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
