Thirteenth-ranked TBB Trier (8-15) gave a tough game to fourth ranked EWE Baskets (16-6). The visitors from Oldenburg managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected much easier game. TBB Trier was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 25-20 charge of EWE Baskets, which allowed them to win the game.
