No shocking result in a game when first ranked Bakken (19-3) crushed on the road 3rd placed Svendborg (16-6) 110-86 on Thursday. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 63.4 percent from the field. Bakken shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. International power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Andreas Jakobsen (187-83, college: Columbia, MO) contributed with 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Spanish forward Damian Jimenez (198-86) answered with 25 points and American center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Svendborg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-3 record. Svendborg at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Bakken will face bottom-ranked Vaerlose (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
