Regular Season Round 22: TED Ankara - Kayseri 72-74

Fourteenth-ranked TED Ankara (2-20) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Kayseri (16-6) on Saturday. The visitors from Kayseri managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. TED Ankara was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 21-16 charge of Kayseri, which allowed them to win the game. American swingman Camille Little (188-85, college: N.Carolina) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and international center Esra Ural (198-91, agency: 1x1 Sports) supported her with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Even 30 points (made all of her ten free throws !!!) by Lithuanian guard Kamile Nacickaite (180-89, college: Drexel) did not help to save the game for TED Ankara. Nigerian swingman Mactabene Amachree (190-78) added 14 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. Kayseri maintains fourth position with 16-6 record. TED Ankara lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Kayseri will meet at home higher ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. TED Ankara will play against Besiktas (#7) in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
