Thirteenth-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (9-15) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Telekom Baskets (15-9) in Bonn on Saturday. Telekom Baskets managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Even 15 points and 4 assists by American point guard Darius Adams (182-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Lithuanian Adas Juskevicius (194-89) added 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Telekom Baskets have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 15-9 record. Loser Eisbaeren Bremerhaven keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Telekom Baskets will meet at home bottom-ranked Walter Tigers (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
