Eleventh-ranked Don Bosco Bamberg (5-14) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Herner TC (11-8). The visitors from Herne managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. Don Bosco Bamberg was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 30-20 third quarter run of Herner TC.
