Very predictable result when seventh ranked Parklji (10-8) won against on the road 12th ranked Hrastnik (5-13) 78-73 on Saturday. Hrastnik was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-21 charge of Parklji, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Hrastnik turnovers. Point guard Nejc Kobal (183-91) notched 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals to lead the effort and guard Tomaz Podboj (204-86) supported him with 18 points. Four Parklji players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by center Crt Lipovsek (194-88) did not help to save the game for Hrastnik. Guard Dean Sipura (194-87) added 17 points. Parklji have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Hrastnik keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Parklji will meet at home Crnomelj (#9) in the next round. Hrastnik will play against Postojna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
