Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (13-12) defeated on the road 13th ranked Magdeburg (7-18) 81-70 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-70. Oettinger Rockets Gotha made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game, while Magdeburg only scored twelve points from the stripe. Magdeburg was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
