1 ZLS top team - Radivoj Korac (20-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Student Radnicki (5-16) in Nis 85-42. The game without a history. Radivoj Korac led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Student Radnicki to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Radivoj Korac dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Student Radnicki's 24. They outrebounded Student Radnicki 43-20 including a 30-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for FYR Macedonian Jelena Antic (187-91, college: Liberty) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Dijana Stancic (182-93) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Radivoj Korac's coach Milos Pavlovic felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Milica Virijevic (180-87) answered with 14 points and Maja Zivkovic added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Student Radnicki. Radivoj Korac have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. Student Radnicki lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Radivoj Korac are looking forward to face Vrbas Medela (#4) at home in the next round. Student Radnicki will play against ZKK Vrsac (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
