Bursa BSB used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Eskisehir 96-52 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Bursa BSB led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Anadolu Univ.'s 42 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Anadolu Univ. 47-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Alyssia Brewer (190-90, college: UCLA) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Arzu Akay (186-76) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ceyda Isbirakmaz (-80) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Dilara Usumus (-88) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursa BSB will face Gure (#5) in Balikesir in the next round. Anadolu Univ. will play against Yakin Dogu and hopes to get finally their first victory.
