Regular Season Round 20: Usak - Anadolu Efes 73-68

The most important game in the last round took place in Usak between third ranked Anadolu Efes (14-6) and fifth ranked Usak (13-7) on Sunday night. Anadolu Efes was defeated by Usak in a tough game on the road 68-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Anadolu Efes. The other American import forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. International Kerem Gonlum (208-77) produced 8 points and 14 rebounds and Croatian-Bosnian guard Zoran Planinic (198-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Anadolu Efes' coach Vangelis Agelou rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Usak have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Usak maintains fifth position with 13-7 record. Anadolu Efes at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Galatasaray.
