We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventeenth ranked BBC Bayreuth (5-18) beat at home 16th ranked SC Rasta Vechta (5-19) 82-70 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BBC Bayreuth. SC Rasta Vechta was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BBC Bayreuth moved-up to sixteenth place. SC Rasta Vechta lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventeenth position with 19 games lost. BBC Bayreuth will face higher ranked Phoenix Hagen (#10) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. SC Rasta Vechta will play against Mitteldeutscher BC (#9) and hope to win that game.
