Regular Season Round 30: Randers - Falcon 81-84

The most exciting game of round 30 in the Ligaen took place in Randers. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Randers (17-6) to ninth ranked Falcon (8-16) 84-81 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Randers. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 25-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Randers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Falcon maintains ninth position with 8-16 record. Randers at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Falcon are looking forward to face higher ranked Horsens IC (#4) in Horsens in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Randers will play at home against Horsholm and are hoping to win this game.
