Leader Bakken delivered the twentieth first victory. This time they beat 7th ranked Aalborg (10-15) 79-75. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 24-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. International power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Joe Burton (201-90, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian point guard Joey Haywood (185-84, college: St.Mary's) added 27 points in the effort for Aalborg. Bakken (21-3) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Aalborg at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Horsholm. Bakken will play against SISU (#6) in Copenhagen in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Aalborg will play on the road against Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
