Zepter Vienna was ahead by 15 points after three quarters before a 25-10 charge of Xion Dukes, which allowed them to win the game. Zepter Vienna was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American swingman Curtis Bobb (198-78, college: Utah St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Bosnian power forward Ramiz Suljanovic (205-79) supported him with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Xion Dukes' coach Robert Langer allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) did not help to save the game for Zepter Vienna. Montenegrin Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Four Zepter Vienna players scored in double figures. Xion Dukes maintains fifth position with 14-10 record. Zepter Vienna lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Xion Dukes will play against league's second-placed Gmunden Swans in Gmunden in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
