No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Buyukcekmece (12-13) crushed at home bottom-ranked Hacettepe (3-22) 102-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Buyukcekmece led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Hacettepe's 38. They outrebounded Hacettepe 46-26 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Buyukcekmece looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Hacettepe's players. It was a very good performance for forward Omer Unver (204-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Buyukcekmece. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Balikesir and Gelism. Hacettepe lost their nineteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games.
