Regular Season Round 25: Ludwigsburg - Fraport SKY 77-76

Twelfth-ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (9-13) gave a tough game to eighth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (13-11) on Saturday. EnBW Ludwigsburg managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But Deutsche Bank Skyliners won second period 13-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (203-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Coby Karl (196-83, college: Boise St., agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach John Patrick used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. point guard Konstantin Klein (186-91, agency: LUMANI 10.7) produced 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains eighth place with 13-11 record. Deutsche Bank Skyliners lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg will meet TBB Trier (#14) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play against the league's leader Bayern Muenchen having rather not much hope for a victory.
