We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (5-17) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Stade (5-16) 95-78 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Stade. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel was better in third quarter 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stade forced 19 Herzoege Wolfenbuettel turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Stade especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Steffen Kiese (189-87) scored 23 points, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Davon Roberts (197-86, college: Azusa Pacific) chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Demetrius Ward (190-90, college: W.Michigan) responded with 21 points and 5 assists and Canadian forward Ismar Seferagic (201-94) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stade moved-up to eleventh place in Group North. Loser Herzoege Wolfenbuettel dropped to the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
