Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Antalya (11-14) was outscored by fourth ranked Vestel (17-8) in Manisa 88-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Vestel. Antalya was better in fourth quarter 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Antalya 48-14 including a 37-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vestel shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 73.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Vestel's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. point guard Berkay Gulek (182-94) answered with 13 points and American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 10 points and 6 assists in the effort for Antalya. Vestel moved-up to third place, which they share with Yesilgiresun. Antalya lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Vestel will face Pamukkale (#5) on the road in the next round. Antalya will play against Buyukcekmece (#9) and hope to win that game.
