The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Lietkabelis' (9-18) road loss to ninth ranked Juventus (10-15) in Utena 74-101. The game without a history. Juventus led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jeremy Hazell (195-86, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Keyron Sheard (188-86, college: Chattanooga) who added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Juventus players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Russian center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88) with 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Juventus moved-up to seventh place. Lietkabelis at the other side keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost. Juventus will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lietkabelis will play at home against Nevezis (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
