Regular Season Round 32: Bakken - SISU 105-92

Ligaen top team - Bakken (22-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked SISU (11-15) in Aarhus 105-92. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. SISU was better in fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 assists and American guard Kenny Barker (191-86, college: Alaska-Anch.) who added 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import center Chris Matagrano (206-90, college: New Hampshire) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bakken have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-3 record. SISU at the other side keeps the fifth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Horsholm and Naestved. Bakken will play against Randers (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SISU will play against Aalborg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
