An interesting game for Stevnsgade (4-1) which hosted in Stevnsgade 3rd placed Falcon (2-3). First ranked Stevnsgade managed to get a 6-point victory 79-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Falcon. Falcon was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 23-13 charge of Stevnsgade, which allowed them to win the game. Stevnsgade shot 22 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Falcon only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Falcon 39-24 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Her fellow American import swingman Sarah Eichler (182-91, college: Green Bay) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Sofie Vincents (174-87) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Newly promoted Stevnsgade maintains first place with 4-1 record, which they share with Amager. Falcon at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. Stevnsgade's next round opponent will be Vaerlose (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Falcon will play against the league's second-placed Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
