The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Amager (4-1) in Copenhagen on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked SISU (3-2) 86-68. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Amager. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Amager managed to win fourth quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Amager's 28. SISU forced 27 Amager turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) contributed with 21 points and 8 assists for the winners. American power forward Keyona Bryant (186-90, college: St.Augustine) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Amager. Defending champion maintains second place with 3-2 record having just -3 point less than leader Stevnsgade. Amager at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Stevnsgade. SISU are looking forward to face Horsholm (#4) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against Lemvig and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
