Bottom-ranked Ruta-Univ. is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 28th consecutive match to sixth ranked Utena (9-19) 97-49. The game without a history. Utena led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Ruta-Univ.'s 26. They outrebounded Ruta-Univ. 55-29 including a 39-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Utena players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Vita Zilinskaite (190-93, college: UTEP) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. International center Kristina Alminaite (205-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Utena players scored in double figures. Utena's coach Gintaras Kruckauskas felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ieva Kazlauskaite (178-94) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Silvija Kuodiene (180-81) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Utena maintains sixth position with 9-19 record. Ruta-Univ. at the other side still closes the standings.
