Regular Season Round 26: ALBA - Brose Bask. 70-58

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Brose Baskets (20-4) against fourth ranked ALBA Berlin (18-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Brose Baskets were defeated by ALBA Berlin in Berlin 70-58. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Brose Baskets. The game was mostly controlled by ALBA Berlin. Brose Baskets managed to win fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Croatian power forward Leon Radosevic (208-90) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Polish point guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) chipped in 14 points during the contest. American guard Rakim Sanders (193-89, college: Fairfield) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Slovakian point guard Anton Gavel (189-84, agency: Pro One Sports) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ALBA Berlin moved-up to third place. Defending champion Brose Baskets keep the second position with four games lost. ALBA Berlin will meet Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Brose Baskets will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) and hope to secure a win.
