Leader ICIM Arad delivered the twentieth fifth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Satu Mare (12-13) 90-69. The game was mostly controlled by ICIM Arad. Satu Mare was better in fourth quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ICIM Arad dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Satu Mare's 34. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Donica Cosby (172-88, college: Oklahoma City, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists. Her fellow American import guard Jence Rhoads (180-88, college: Vanderbilt) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four ICIM Arad players scored in double figures. The former international guard Ramona Tarta (173-89) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international swingman Andreea Orosz (183-86) added 18 points in the effort for Satu Mare. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for ICIM Arad. Defending champion maintains first place with 25-1 record. Satu Mare at the other side keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. ICIM Arad will play against Galati (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Satu Mare will play against Rapid in Bucuresti and hopes to get back on the winning track.
