Very predictable result in Dnepropetrovsk where fifth ranked Budivelnyk (14-6) defeated 13th ranked Dnipro (4-18) 94-84 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Budivelnyk. Dnipro managed to win second period 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Budivelnyk looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Dnipro's players. American swingman Ricky Minard (196-82, college: Morehead St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds, 16 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Lithuanian center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field).
