Very important is a road loss of third ranked Herner TC (12-9) against fifth ranked Rhein Main Baskets (13-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Herner TC was defeated by Rhein Main Baskets in a tough game in Langen 75-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Herner TC. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Herner TC was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 23-8 third quarter run of Rhein Main Baskets.
