Regular Season Round 25: SC Kryvbas - Ferro-ZNTU 70-83

Very predictable result in Kryvyi Rih where sixth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (15-8) defeated 12th ranked SC Kryvbas (5-18) 83-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Ferro-ZNTU. SC Kryvbas managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Guard Alexander Rybalko (190-79) stepped up and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Artem Butskyy (186-81, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points and 11 assists. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Valeriy Anisimov (208-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and forward Vitali Malchevskiy (204-87) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Ferro-ZNTU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. SC Kryvbas lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Ferro-ZNTU are looking forward to face league's leader Khimik in Yuzhny in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SC Kryvbas will play on the road against Budivelnyk (#5) in Kyiv and are hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
