Rather predictable result in Ankara where eleventh ranked Trabzonspor (10-13) beat 13th ranked Turk Telekom (7-16) 82-72. The game without a history. Trabzonspor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) who led the winners and scored 17 points. Croatian-Bosnian center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Trabzonspor's coach Hakan Demir allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Manny Harris (197-89, college: Michigan) came up with 25 points and the other American import swingman Joshua Shipp (196-86, college: UCLA) added 11 points respectively for Turk Telekom in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Trabzonspor. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Tofas. Turk Telekom lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Trabzonspor's next round opponent will be league's leader Banvit BK in Balikesir and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Usak (#5) and hope to win that game.
