Very expected game when 14th ranked TED Ankara (2-23) lost to fifth ranked Botas (15-10) in Adana 49-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Botas. TED Ankara was better in fourth quarter 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for American center Michelle Snow (196-80, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Hungarian power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 7 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Botas' coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian guard Kamile Nacickaite (180-89, college: Drexel) answered with 14 points and forward Dilek Ozak (182-83) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for TED Ankara. Botas maintains fifth place with 15-10 record. TED Ankara lost their ninth game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Botas will face higher ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#4) in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TED Ankara will play at home against Konak (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
