Leader Levski delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Haskovo 2012 (10-13) 82-74 in Sofia. It looked good early as Haskovo 2012 took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Levski had a 22-16 second period charge getting the lead and Haskovo 2012 was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-82. It was a good game for American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. point guard Viktoria Stoycheva (165-92) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Bahamas center Waltiea Rolle (198-90, college: N.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Corin Adams (174-88, college: Morgan St.) added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Haskovo 2012. Levski maintains first place with 18-6 record. Haskovo 2012 at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. Levski will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Haskovo 2012 will play at home against the league's second-placed Dunav 8806 (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
