Very significant was Elizabeth-Basket's (#1, 18-2) victory against 4th ranked Tim-Scuf (6-15) 88-73. It looked good early as Tim-Scuf took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Elizabeth-Basket had a 19-11 second period charge getting the lead and Tim-Scuf was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-88.
