TB2L top team - Darussafaka (23-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Balikesir (13-15) in Istanbul 97-59. The game without a history. Darussafaka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 63.6 percent from the field. Darussafaka shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Balikesir's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 4 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) who added 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Hadi Dogan (200-86) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Darussafaka maintains first position with 23-5 record. Balikesir at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Gelism.
