An interesting game took place in Ankara where higher ranked TED Kolejliler (11-14) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Turk Telekom (9-16) 84-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Turk Telekom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Turk Telekom outrebounded TED Kolejliler 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Turk Telekom especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Manny Harris (197-89, college: Michigan) stepped up and scored 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Serbian power forward Vanja Plisnic (207-80, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Berkay Candan (205-93) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. TED Kolejliler's coach Ercument Sunter tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Turk Telekom moved-up to twelfth place. Loser TED Kolejliler keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Turk Telekom will face Olin Edirne (#13) on the road in the next round.
